Russell Refrigeration Equipment
The Russell refrigeration equipment I've worked on has been standard medium and low temperature walk in equipment.
The materials and workmanship are top quality, and the electrical and mechanical components are all from major manufacturers.
The machinery is designed and built so that access for service and repairs isn't difficult, which helps technicians save time during maintenance and repairs, and helps reduce labor costs.
The wiring diagrams on the equipment are clear and complete, and more electrical and mechanical service information is available at their web site,
www.Russellcoil.com.
If you have some older Russell refrigeration equipment and are converting to the newer refrigerants, be sure to follow the refrigerant and compressor manufacturer's recommendations, and contact Russell for any additional guidance they might have.
Be sure to remove all the old mineral oil, replace the filter drier and TXV, charge in the correct oil for the new refrigerant, and when the unit is running with the new refrigerant, be sure your pressures, temperatures, superheat, and subcooling are all in the normal range.
If you're interested, our
System Evaluation Manual
has a cycle diagram and guidelines for evaluating air conditioning, medium temperature, and low temperature systems.
If you're comparing price quotes and your best price and warranty is for Russell equipment, take the deal, and don't worry.
Select the correct equipment for the load, do a careful installation and start up, stick to a good maintenance schedule, and you can expect years of trouble-free, efficient operation.
